Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Jensen Decorative Concrete website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Services

Jensen Decorative Concrete provides decorative concrete installation, repair, and related services including but not limited to stamped concrete, stained concrete, concrete overlays, epoxy flooring, and general concrete work. Service availability may vary by location and season. All services are subject to scheduling, material availability, and weather conditions.

3. Estimates & Quotes

All estimates and quotes provided by Jensen Decorative Concrete are based on the information available at the time of the assessment. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Final pricing may vary due to unforeseen site conditions, changes in material costs, or modifications requested by the client. A written agreement or signed proposal is required before any work begins.

4. Payment Terms

A deposit may be required before work commences, with the remaining balance due upon project completion unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Accepted payment methods will be outlined in the project agreement. Late payments may be subject to additional fees or interest as permitted by applicable law. Jensen Decorative Concrete reserves the right to suspend work on any project with an outstanding balance.

5. Project Changes & Cancellations

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be submitted in writing and may result in adjustments to the project timeline and cost. Cancellation requests must be made in writing. If work has already begun, the client is responsible for payment of all completed work, materials purchased, and any reasonable cancellation fees outlined in the project agreement.

6. Warranties

Jensen Decorative Concrete stands behind the quality of our workmanship. Specific warranty terms and duration will be provided in the project agreement. Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, acts of nature, or modifications made by third parties. Concrete is a natural material and minor cracking, color variation, and surface texture differences are inherent characteristics — these are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jensen Decorative Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or this agreement. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and design elements — is the property of Jensen Decorative Concrete or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without express written permission.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the website at any time without notice.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jensen Decorative Concrete, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our website or services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Minnesota.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
